To gain points for each base in the Assault Event, players simply need to defeat the base with 100% destruction. However, do note that this only provides the base points and not the maximum points. To be able to obtain the maximum points possible for each base, you may follow the equation below:
New Version Calculation:
Total Points Earned = Base Point x ( 1 + ( 1 - (Sum of Attack Power of Dragons / Defense Power of Base)))
Base Points are the same for all tiers so please use the numbers below to assign your base points.
Base # | Base Points |
Base 1 | 100 |
Base 2 | 125 |
Base 3 | 150 |
Base 4 | 175 |
Base 5 | 200 |
Base 6 | 225 |
New Version Rules:
Due to the amount of players having the same max points and causing confusion on who is top 1 in the rankings, the team has modified the Assault Event to simply remove the threshold to get the max points. Now, you will get additional points based on how weak the dragons you have used in battle. This way, there are only a handful of scenario where multiple players have the same scores.
The points system in the Assault Event cannot be earned by grinding multiple times. For as long as you are not able to break your previous record, you will not gain any points. The reason for this is that each base tier can only provide a maximum of 2x their base points. You cannot gain 800 points for doing 10 event runs on the Red Tier Base 1 since the maximum points that's allowed to be gained there is only up to 200.
Here's a better explanation on how the points system works:
First Event Attack gave you 120 points for Red Tier Base 1
Second Event Attack shows that you used the same dragon and thus did not beat your record and the total is 120 points = 0 points gained
Third Event Attack shows that you beat your record by using a weaker dragon and the total is 140 points = 20 points gained will be shown
Since you have already gained 120 points before, you cannot gain 120 points again for the same tier and base # and will only receive the extra points that you gained for beating your previous record. That is how you can only gain up to a maximum of 200 points and not 800 points for trying to do multiple runs.
----------------------------------------
Old Version Calculation:
Total Points Earned = [Base Points] x [1 + Min{0.8, (1 - [Sum of Attack Power of Dragons] / [Defense Power of Base])}]
Old Version Rules:
Gaining the maximum points requires you to fly a dragon that has an attack power equivalent to 20% of the base defense power. Using multiple dragons will only add their attack power to each other then use the calculation above.
In case the above is still a bit confusing, please use the example below:
Attacking a base with 30,000 Defense Power
You have to use a dragon with 6,000 Attack Power to gain the maximum points which is 1.8x the base points given on that base.
Let's take the Red Tier Base 1 as another example:
Defense Power: 2974
Using a dragon that has more than 2974 Attack Power = 100 Points won
Using a dragon that has 596 Attack Power = 180 Points won
Using a dragon that has 1487 Attack Power = 150 Points won
That being the case, if you notice that you are not getting any points after scoring the base, this means that you haven't broken your previous record. You will only get points if you break through your past record. This means that if you gained 150 points, it will only change to 151 and above if you use a dragon that has less than 1487 attack power.
