The Doomsmog Relic Branch will launch on June 14, 2023 during the Crystal Caves event.

Overview

• Relics and the corresponding relic dust used to level them up will be unlocked via a relic-specific season branch
  • Relic keys can be obtained via event prizes, the Relics Chests, or in a value pack
• Relic Chest and value packs will return by the end of June. We will share more updates on this shortly.
• Relics will have three levels of power: bronze, silver, and gold and have corresponding relic dust (used to level them up) and seasonal keys to unlock

RELIC BRANCH AND KEYS

Similar to last season, the relic branch will consist of four rows each having a relic and the relic dust required to level up that relic in the nodes following it.

• The first row will consist of the bronze relic and its bronze relic dust
• The second row will consist of the silver relic and its silver relic dust
• The third row will consist of the gold relic and its gold relic dust
• The fourth row will consist of legacy relic dust. This legacy dust will allow players to level gold relics to legacy levels for additional power. 
• There will also be nodes at the end of the branch to trade spare Doomsmog relic keys for rubies.

More Details

• Legacy relic keys will only be available in the new relic chest and in future value packs.
• To unlock all nodes in the relics branch a player will need 100 bronze, silver, and gold relic keys and 30 legacy relic keys.
• Players must complete the entire bronze row of nodes to unlock the silver row, and so on.
• The four relic key types use the same art as last season
• Corruption relic keys do not carry over from the previous season and cannot be used in the Doomsmog season branch

EVENT PRIZING UPDATES

Bronze, Silver, and Gold relic keys will be added to event prizes starting with next week’s Crystal Caves event and for the rest of the season. Again, these will be tied to the season and not transferable to following seasons.

• Rank 15: 10 Bronze Doomsmog Relic Keys
• Rank 25: 10 Silver Doomsmog Relic Keys
• Rank 27: 5 Gold Doomsmog Relic Keys
• Rank 30: 5 Gold Doomsmog Relic Keys

Minor Events

• Rank 15: 5 Bronze Doomsmog Relic Keys
• Rank 25: 5 Silver Doomsmog Relic Keys
• Rank 30: 5 Gold Doomsmog Relic Keys

Similar to last season, 11 events will have Doomsmog relic keys beginning with next week’s Crystal Caves event starting June 14, 2023.

RELICS CHESTS & IAPS

The relic chest will be introduced to the treasury by the end of June. This chest will drop bronze, silver, gold, and legacy relic keys with the same drop rate as last season.

• One out of every 10 relic chests will guarantee 1 gold relic key
• One out of every 100 relic chests will guarantee 1 legacy relic key

Adding the relic chests will also introduce relic value packs that’ll allow players to purchase some or all of the new currencies needed to unlock the rest of the relics branch. 

Here, players can accelerate their progress in leveling up their relics, catch up if their key collection has fallen behind pace, and/or unlock legacy levels to help their relics achieve maximum power. 

RELIC VALUE PACKS

Three value packs will also be live with by the end of June as well. These are another way for players to supplement their supply of relic keys.

These packs are:

• Silver Relic Key Pack: 5 Silver Doomsmog Relic Keys for $9.99
• Gold Relic Key Pack: 5 Gold Doomsmog Relic Keys for $19.99
• Legacy Relic Key Pack: 5* Legacy Doomsmog Relic Keys for $99.99

*Increased from 3 legacy keys last season.

Remember, you can use the Doomsmog Relics Branch’s refund nodes to get some spare rubies back for any extra keys you may have acquired throughout the season. As a reminder, relic keys are tied to the season and cannot be carried over to next season.
