Relics Update

Starting today, we are adding some additional items to the relics feature: Relic Chests and Relic value packs. We are also making a few small fixes and clarifications to the relic art and relic branch.

Our plan is to give access to chests and value packs a few events into the season and in future seasons as well. We will be collecting feedback to see how this structure works for you and may make adjustments if necessary.

UPDATES

• We identified an issue with the size and style of the relic art and made an update with the new content launching on April 11. This updates art for the bronze, silver, and gold relics from this season.
• We added some clarifying text on the nature of the relic branch with this week’s event. Apologies for any confusion on the structure. To be clear:
  • Nodes in the silver row cannot be unlocked until the whole bronze row is unlocked
  • Nodes in the gold row cannot be unlocked until the whole silver row is unlocked
  • Nodes in the legacy row cannot be unlocked until the whole gold row is unlocked

RELIC CHESTS

If you remember Runic Chests, we have brought them back and rebranded them as Relic Chests! Rather than dropping runes and dust, they will now exclusively drop relic keys to be used in the Relics season branch. 

Drop rates are as follows:

• 1 Bronze Corruption Relic Key: 45%
• 1 Silver Corruption Relic Key: 44%
• 1 Gold Corruption Relic Key: 10%
• 1 Legacy Corruption Relic Key: 1%

The price of these chests is 1 for 500 rubies and 10 for 4000 rubies. The bonus drop for opening 30 chests is 1 Gold Corruption Relic Key. They will run for the rest of the Corruption Season. 

Just a reminder: you can use Relic branch’s refund nodes to get some spare rubies back for any extra keys you may have acquired throughout the season. As a reminder, relic keys are tied to the season and cannot be carried over to next season.

RELIC VALUE PACKS

Three value packs will be live with the launch of this week’s Fortification Frenzy event. These are another way for players to supplement their supply of relic keys.

These packs are:

• Silver Relic Key Pack: 5 Silver Corruption Relic Keys for $9.99
• Gold Relic Key Pack: 5 Gold Corruption Relic Keys for $19.99
• Legacy Relic Key Pack: 5 Legacy Corruption Relic Keys for $99.99

Remember, you can use Relic branch’s refund nodes to get some spare rubies back for any extra keys you may have acquired throughout the season. As a reminder, relic keys are tied to the season and cannot be carried over to next season.
